Foolproof At-Home April Fools’ Day Pranks

April Fools’ Day is here, and we could all use a good laugh right now. Just because you’re staying at home doesn’t mean you can’t pull off a good prank or two this year. Just make sure your friends and family aren’t also reading this list!

Replace Photos Around The House

Print a bunch of photos of a random celeb, then paste them into the family photos around your house. We think Post Malone is a much-needed addition to your family portraits.

Download Sticker Stack

We just discovered an app that makes pranking family and friends way too easy. Once you download the app, you’re able to layer stickers over a text message you receive from someone to change their answer. It’s similar to the auto-correct prank, but you don’t have to change the settings on the recipient’s phone.

Plastic Wrap Bottled Items

Clear plastic wrap + shampoo (or lotion) bottle = a timeless prank. Wrap the plastic wrap around the inside opening of the bottle and screw the cap back on. Cut off all the excess wrapping so that you can’t see it anymore, then sit back and watch whoever tries to use it get extremely frustrated.

Add Food Coloring To Toothpaste

Who knew a few tiny drops of food coloring could cause so much damage?! Start your day off with the ultimate prank by squirting a few drops of food coloring into a tube of toothpaste. It won’t just freak out whoever is brushing their teeth when they spit – it’ll stain their teeth for the rest of the day! Good thing they have nowhere to go…

Try The Good Old Fashion JumpScare

When all else fails, fall back on the classic jump scare. It requires no props and has a proven track record. All you need is a few good hiding spots throughout the house, and you can keep your family on their toes all day long.

Happy April Fools’ Day!
