57% Say Lauren’s Hometown Date Trumped Caila’s

Things got real on “The Bachelor” with Ben visiting the four finalists hometowns. There where a lot of Tears from Ben as the pressure was on this week. Especially since some of the ladies’ parents weren’t all too glad that he’s dating multiple women. What a shocker. See how Wishbone App users voted on the latest episode.

Papa Don’t Preach

First up was Amanda who brought Ben to her hometown in Orange County, California to meet her two children. Her advice for the potential Instant Dad? “My kids love to be chased.” Ben followed through with the advice but seemed to be exhausted by the overall experience. While Amanda and even Wishbone voters were convinced Ben could be the man to father her kids, he seemed a bit more skeptical about whether or not he was ready for the challenge.

Feelin’ artsy in Portland

THE BACHELOR - "Episode 2008" - The stakes are high as Ben crisscrosses the country on an exciting, emotionally charged journey to visit the final four women's hometowns. Ben travels to Orange County, CA to meet Amanda, the single mother with two adorable little girls, but her concerned parents wonder if he is ready to be an immediate full-time dad. Lauren B. shows Ben around her hometown of Portland, OR, but he must face serious questions from her sister. Caila shares some places with Ben that she holds near and dear to her in Hudson, OH; however, her father subjects the Bachelor to a grilling to see if he is worthy of his daughter. Finally, Ben is off to Dallas to meet Jo Jo, only to find her in tears as an unexpected surprise threatens to derail their romance. Ben must make a gut-wrenching decision to narrow the field to three women. Will one of them be his wife? Find out on "The Bachelor," airing MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/Levy Moroshan) LAUREN B., BEN HIGGINS

Next was Lauren B. who gave Ben a tour of Portland, Oregon where she managed to plan a very engaging date. They try out various food trucks  and even visit a whiskey library. And when it was time to get emotional, Lauren revealed she was ready to say those special three words but she needed her families approval first. Upon arriving at her family home, Lauren’s sister snags Ben right away to find out his intentions with her sister. His response? To cry. It seems that’s his go to when he can’t think of anything else to say. (Hint: This happens a lot).

Benched in Hudson, Ohio

Caila decided to woe Ben at her hometown of Hudson, Ohio by showing him a bench she used to visit and see couples cuddling. Although a slow start to the date, she turns the day around by taking him to her dad’s toy factory where they design and build a home with hard hats and everything. Unlike some of the other families, Caila’s was fairly welcoming to Ben and even listed all the reasons one should marry a Filipino woman. Awkward. Caila’s mom also gives her advice to jump on Ben and tell him her true feelings but she seems to get cold feet at the last minute. She should’ve taken the chance when she had it!

The Date of the Night

Caila’s date had an interesting twist but anything with food involved, especially if you get to feed your bae, had Wishbone voters deeming Lauren’s date the clear winner. But all that matters is what Ben will think. *Add suspenseful music here*

Jojo’s Rough Night

When it came to Jojo’s turn, she just so happened to receive a two paged letter from her ex explaining why they should get back together.  “The Bachelor” producers definitely know how to time their dramatic moments. A confused and upset Jojo calls her ex to say she’s sticking with Ben. She takes the mature road by informing Ben of the incident and they awkwardly get through it so they can overcome the next hurdle of meeting the family. And her family was not all too kind. Her two overprotective brothers were quick to hound on Ben. They didn’t trust his facade as his responses apparently seemed too rehearsed. The best part of the night?

When mama be chugging that wine. Life is stressful when you’re daughter’s love life is based on whether or not she gets a rose. And obviously how to deal is to hit the next best thing. The rosé.

Say your farewells

Another mama that might be heading towards that bottle is Amanda. While Ben gave a classic speech about how hard his decision was this week, he had to say goodbye to Amanda. We all saw it coming as he didn’t seem ready to take on an entire family. Amanda is a bit bitter that he waited until after he met her kids but it’s too little too late at this point. And once again, Ben turns on the waterworks as he watches her take off.

Next week “The Bachelor” contestants are hitting up Jamaica with only three ladies left. Wishbone voters seem to think Jojo has a big advantage over Lauren on snagging a rose. Only time will tell.
