53% Do Not Like Ben with Front Runner Lauren B!

THE BACHELOR - "Episode 2001" - One by one, the gorgeous bachelorettes are prepared to make a lasting first impression. The stakes are high as the long, stressful first night winds down and it's time for the first rose ceremony of the season. Twenty-one lucky women will continue their journey to win Ben's heart, as this highly anticipated 20th season of ABC's hit romance reality series, "The Bachelor," premieres on MONDAY, JANUARY 4 (8:00-10:01 p.m., EST), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/Rick Rowell)

As we get more acquainted with the ladies of “The Bachelor,” we see how quickly things get overheated in a competition for love. Tears were shed, hearts were broken, and a cankle crisis ensued. There’s no show quite like it. Wishbone voters can’t help agree and are an opinionated bunch. They couldn’t help but share their thoughts on the nights’ adventures.

The Date of the Night

The first one-on-one date of the episode was with Lauren B. in which they took a short plane ride to make out in the middle of a field in a hot tub. Clearly they need to put some extra distance between themselves and the other girls to truly feel alone. Lots of kissing and champagne made for a pleasant date. But overall consensus? We’re still not convinced Lauren B. will make it far. She has yet to have a shining moment in the bunch. Ben must think differently as he handed her the date rose.

Look at that Footwork

Next up was the group date at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where the ladies were to play soccer with World Cup champions Alex Morgan and Kelley O’Hara. The girls gave it their all as they split up into Team Stars and Team Stripes to battle for Ben’s attention. With a tie score, it came down to a sudden death match in which Team Stripes went for the winning goal. But the real winner here were the awesome guest athletes. Specifically, Alex Morgan was a fan favorite for Wishbone users.

A Dark Past

Unlike her name, Jubilee was quite distraught for not getting enough time with Ben. Que tears. And when the time came to jet off, or in this case helicopter off, with Ben she went back to her “awko taco” state and clammed up due to her fear of heights. However, the duo’s relationship progressed at the spa as they had a more deep discussion. Jubilee explained that her fear of being unlovable ties in with her history in Haiti as her entire family died and she is the sole survivor. Ben must have appreciated her candor as she received a date rose as well.

Cat Fights Galore

The next day, Ben revealed some tough news that he recently lost two people in his family. Jubilee was quick to provide comfort by giving Ben a massage. Nothing like a healing touch to soothe the mind. Amber, on the other hand, was not impressed. She tried to rally a group of girls to confront Jubilee about the incident and the rose she received. Jubilee did not react well, no surprise there, and left the room upset. But Ben came to her defense and comforted her. Amber’s plan definitely backfired and made her look bad to Ben.

The Plot Twist

As if Ben hasn’t been through enough, Lace grabs him right after that interaction and drops a bomb. She was drawing out of the race for his heart. She accurately stated that she needs to work on herself and as her tattoo says, “You can’t love someone else until you truly love yourself.” Who said tattoos don’t come in handy?

But Wishbone commenters were not impressed:

The Enigma that is Olivia

Oh, Olivia. To be stuck in a room with this woman must be a challenge in of itself. The other girls were very clear about their dislike for her by criticizing her boobs as they apparently look fake, her “fat toes,” and alleged bad breath. When Jami told Olivia about the back-talk, Olivia went into panic mode. Her response? Complain to Ben about her cankles right after he explains that he is grieving two losses in his family. Real classy.

Wishbone users had a few Olivia rants of their own:

Final Goodbyes

At the end, we had to say goodbye to two more girls. This week Shushanna and Jami weren’t able to snag a rose. Somehow Olivia managed to stay another round. Good luck, Ben. You’ll need it.
